Born and raised in Nashville, Laura has spent much of her professional life in the music industry, while nurturing a deep, lifelong passion for art. From an early age, she explored drawing, painting, and mixed media, eventually discovering that jewelry was her most natural form of expression. Over the past seven years, she has devoted herself to the craft—spending every spare moment researching, sourcing materials, and experimenting at the bench.
A mostly self-taught metalsmith, Laura has supplemented her practice with formal training, including private lessons and completed the Bench Comprehensive program at New Approach School for Jewelers in 2022. This experience helped refine her techniques and expand her skill set, giving her the confidence to build a small home studio where she creates each piece.
Laura works primarily with sterling and fine silver, gold-fill, and gold, creating sleek, modern designs that remain classic and refined. Every stone she uses is individually selected for its unique character and beauty, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces that feel both personal and timeless. Inspired by travel with her husband, and grounded in a love for music, local culture, and vintage finds, Laura creates jewelry that reflects her artistic journey and connection to place.
